The Cold War was the time of Modern History spanning from the Yalta Conference on Febuary 4, 1945, to December 31, 1991 at the formal end of all powers of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The Cold war was not a formal War, but a series of Proxy Wars and buildup of Nuclear and and non-nuclear weapons, predominantly between The Warsaw Pact and other Communist countrys and the NATO and American forces. During this period in history, the ideologys of Communism and Democracy swept throughout the world.
